The Silly Season

Between poorly managed 2010 Olympic protests and H1N1/vaccine hysteria there’s a lot going on these days. Add to that even more buzz recently (maybe because of the movie?) on the impending doom of 2012.

Here’s a differing view on the calamity.

Nicholas Patch was my 8th great grandfather. Thanks for doing the research which noted the ship they came on-The Defender. I have done a fair amount of research on the family, but am now tired of it.
(There was an article in the New Yorker, sometime back, which talked of the diluting of our genes through the generations. I really liked it.) Also, descended from Quinton Patch-Connecticut.
Always glad to see another’s discovery.
