For Vancouver+ V3, at CYNJ (Langley Regional) we’ve shifted 25/07 south, added the new taxiway G and Apron IV and smattered in some representative buildings.
Again, looking really great. The single funniest moment I’ve ever experienced in real world flying occurred on the threshold of runway 07 there about 10 years ago. It involved doing 8 consecutive doughnuts in a Piper Warrior to avoid getting stuck in the mud (was raining heavily) while waiting for a Cessna to land on rwy 19 so we could take off. Talk about dizzy. The lady in the tower was laughing so hard at us that she couldn’t even give us clearance to take off without her voice cracking up. Good memories. Can’t wait for the release. 🙂
Great story, Mike, thanks!
Looking good guys! CYNJ is where I did my flight training 15 or so years ago. I used to work as a helper at Jem Aviation there to help pay for my lessons. As far as I know, Mr. George Miller is still the manager. Can’t wait for V3 Jon!
