Another view of downtown Vancouver in V3

Monday, May 24th, 2010

This view is with ORBX FTX PNW alongside Vancouver+.  On my rig this runs 22fps with autogen at extremely dense, not a recommended setting.

Vancouver+ V3: across False Creek down West Georgia Street

Are you going to change BC Place to show the new roof? Not that I want it to be changed, but was just wondering what your plans are.

kinda reminds me a bit, of the roman colosseum as envisioned by archaeologists….wonder how many years before we start terminal entertainment…….lookin good
but i was wondering if there is any control for the lighting color for the windows in the commercial buildings?…….could just be my setup, but are they a little bluish…kinda cold looking?…again it’s likely my own settings, but i thought i’d ask just in case…

Hi Vic, the window lighting for custom buildings in Vancouver is improved quite a bit over V2. And yes, some may be bluish, which buildings in particular are you interested in? You can post in the Van+ FSX support forum: http://forums.fsaddon.eu/viewforum.php?f=15

I just purchased and installed the FTX NA Blue scenery Version 1.0 and i am confused about teh Vancouver V=3 add-on scenery. Can I purchase it and install right over my new scenery or do I need a patch? I would appreciate your guidance. Thanks,
    Dennis Burke

Hi Dennis, thanks for your interest. Vancouver+ V3 is not yet available. You can purchase Vancouver+ V2 and patch it for compatibility per this post: https://jonpatch.wordpress.com/2010/03/23/vancouver-ftx-pnw-patch-released/
