The Cone of Silence Descends…

Tuesday, February 28th, 2012

The beta team (muzzled by a non-disclosure agreement!) is in place and Holger and I are working on final files for Vancouver+ V3 and plan to put the team to work soon.  No dates on release, but I’ll post here when we are ready to hand off to the publisher, FSAddon.  They will then advise of availability for purchase or upgrade.  A reminder that this release is free to existing Vancouver+ FSX Version 2 owners.

Looking forward to this. And I hope it can solve my FSX a/c crashing into an invisible building north of Langley in the vicinity of Highway 1. It is difficult to track down the culprit as I have Uly Terrain, FS GlobalX, GEX, REX, Van+, and ORBX stuff installed. Not blaming Van+ at all incidentally, I’ve asked around and nobody else has the issue. And I wonder why my FSP are single digits anywhere near YVR. lol
I am impressed, considering how old the add-on is now that there is still on going support. Very happy.
    AN in YXX. 🙂

Indeed, Alex, I’ve never heard of the crash issue. Many simmers fly with crash detection off though. If you want to post on the support forum at
with coordinates, I can take a look.

What’s your AI traffic set to? Van+ floatplane AI is hard on frames. Be sure it’s set to 25% or so.

And thank you for the kind words!

Now that companies like Carenado and Aerosoft are developing for Xplane 10 is there any chance that you might do some scenery for it ?

Hadn’t thought about it, seems unlikely, Larry.
